Learning how to make cheesecake bars recipes will result in some delicious snacks. I do not remember the first time I baked these but I do remember when I started making bar cookies. As you know, I started baking cookies when I was very young; about 7 or 8 years old. Most recipes for cookies make many dozens of cookies. Of course, as a child I got tired of baking the cookies. Sometimes I would press the remaining dough in the bottom of a pan and bake them all at once. When they were finished baking, I would cut them in bars or squares and I would still have delicious cookies.
Cheesecake bars came along much later; the sugar free recipes after those. The first time I used cream cheese, it was Philadelphia brand. I made a chip dip for potato chips and it was so delicious. I was hooked on cream cheese! I began adding it to everything that was possible to add it in whether I was cooking, baking or just mixing a dip or whatever. The cheese just improved everything and added great moistness and flavor. It became one of my favorite ingredients along with sour cream and buttermilk.
Now that I have learned how to make cheesecake bars recipes I have found it great to experiment by adding various types of cheeses to many recipes. Most of the cheese with a mild flavor and of similar texture can be used interchangeably. Even if your recipe does not call for cheese like some cake bars, experiment by stirring in small diced chunks before baking. I have never been disappointed.
